Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network (RGJJN™)
Getting Started.
Once again, thank you for your interest in becoming a
member
of the Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network family. Here you
will find the
steps necessary to become a RGJJN accredited school. We
would like to remind you to read the "General Requirements
for establishing a Network" section in order to ensure
that your Martial Arts Organization /School is eligible
for membership. |

FOR PRINCIPALS / INSTRUCTORS THAT ARE NOT RANKED IN
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU:
For principals /instructors that are not ranked in the art
of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the first step is attaining rank.
Please fill out the application for
Getting Started with RGJJN and mail it,
along with the $99.00 application fee to:

Upon receipt of the application and the application fee
your school will be sent a Welcome Package with all the
materials necessary for attaining a rank in Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu. The package includes:
1.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - "Theory and Techniques"
By Royler and Renzo Gracie
2.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - "Street Self Defense Techniques"
By Royce and Charles Gracie
3. An outline of techniques necessary to attain the rank
of a blue belt as well as an outline of the Gracie
Self Defense techniques that you must learn in order to
become a RGJJN affiliated school. (techniques are
demonstrated and explained in the two books that are
included in the welcome package).
4. A Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu T-Shirt and car window
sticker.
Study the techniques from the outline. Practice them with
your training partner. Once you feel that you have a good
knowledge of these techniques, check in the schedule
section of the site for a Royce Gracie Seminar Schedule.
Attend a Royce Gracie Seminar and or Network Visit at
which time Royce will be able to test your knowledge and
ability to execute the techniques. If you meet the
required standard for promotion, Royce will award you the
rank of Blue Belt at that time.
FOR PRINCIPALS /
INSTRUCTORS THAT ARE ALREADY RANKED IN BRAZILIAN
JIU-JITSU.
For principals /instructors that are ranked in the art of
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu please fill out the “Getting Started
with RGJJN application” and mail it along with a Network
start-up fee of $350.00

we will process your application. If your school receives
an approval you will receive:

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - "Street Self Defense Techniques"
By Royce and Charles Gracie
2. An outline of the Gracie Self Defense techniques that
you must learn in order to become a RGJJN member school.
(techniques are
demonstrated and explained in the book that is included in
the welcome package).
3. A Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu T-Shirt and car window
sticker.
4. An official certificate showing your membership into
the RGJJN, as well as a belt certificate for the main
instructor.
UNLESS RANKED BY ROYCE GRACIE AN APPLICANT MUST ATTEND A
ROYCE GRACIE SEMINAR AND OR A NETWORK VISIT IN ORDER TO
HAVE HIS/HER RANK CONFIRMED.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET STARTED
WITH RGJJN - BLUE BELT REQUIREMENTS AND SELF DEFENSE
REQUIREMENTS ( NOTE: IF YOU ARE ALREADY A BLUE BELT OR
ABOVE IN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU, YOU STILL HAVE TO ADDRESS
THE SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES OUTLINED IN THIS CURRICULUM)

Required Curriculum To Become A Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
Network Chapter
NOTE: IF YOU
HAVE NOT BEEN RANKED BY ROYCE GRACIE, YOU MUST PROVIDE
NAME AND CONTACT INFO FOR THE INSTRUCTOR THAT RANKED YOU.
ROYCE GRACIE AND/OR RGJJN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTACT
SUCH INSTRUCTOR TO VERIFY YOUR RANK, ROYCE GRACIE AND /OR
RGJJN ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT NOT TO ACCEPT YOUR RANK IN
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU IN WHICH CASE YOU WILL HAVE TO ATTAIN
SUCH RANK FROM ROYCE GRACIE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR
MEMBERSHIP IN THE RGJJN.
MONTHLY AND OTHER CHANGES FOR THE RGJJN
> Monthly Network Due - $150.00 each month due on the
1st of the month. The network representative must fill out
a Credit Card authorization form. The monthly dues are
billed automatically on the 1st of each month.
> Student RGJJN Membership - fee is $30 per year.
It is the responsibility of the network chapter
representative to collect these fees on or before the
January 1 of each year and or for new students upon
signing up for the RGJJN program. |
